Overview
You may encounter an issue when:
- Taxes are not displayed in orders on the product level, while the tax is displayed for the whole order. This causes issues with refunds that are made per product.
- Taxes are not added to orders' subtotal, which is directly affecting your revenue.
Solution
Submit a request to Symphony Support, including the IDs of the affected orders.

Such issues might occur when Avalara API calls are not working properly or have been changed unexpectedly. Elevate such cases to the ENG team.

Testing
- Navigate to Customer Service > Orders.
- Open any recent order.
- Under the Contents tab, taxes should be displayed for each separate product:
