Transactional Email Definitions

Overview

This article defines each transactional email that is sent to the customer.

 

Information

  • Subscription cancelled:
    • If enabled, the customer will receive the cancellation email when their subscription is cancelled
  • Order shipped:
    • The customer will receive this Email when their order ships.
  • Gift card delivery:
    • The customer will receive this Email when an ecard is sent to them.
  • Credit card charge failure:
    • The customer will receive this Email If the credit card fails at the time of shipment.
  • Wholesaler submitted
    • The customer will receive this Email when a wholesale customer submits an application on site front.
  • Member earned referral credit
    • The customer will receive this Email stating that they have received credit because someone they referred made a purchase
  • Order in review
    • The customer will receive this Email when their order is put on hold and needs to be reviewed by Customer Service.
  • Wholesaler updated
    • The customer will receive this Email when the user changes the terms for a wholesaler.
  • Wholesaler denied
    • If you have wholesale channels set up, a wholesale customer will receive the denied email when their application is denied.
  • Member joined
    • If enabled, the customer receives this email when they register for an account.
  • Wholesaler joined
    • If you have wholesale channels set up, a wholesale customer will receive the joined email once their application has been approved.
  • Order cancelled
    • If enabled, the customer will receive the cancellation email when their order is cancelled.
  • Member subscribed
    • If enabled, the customer receives the subscribed email after signing up to receive email communications.
  • Payment past due
    • If payment is received by the term date, the wholesale customer will receive this email.
  • Order placed
    • The customer will receive this Email when they place an order.
  • Backorder delayed
    • This Email is sent to anyone who has an order with an expected ship date and the inventory hasn’t been checked in by the expected ship date.
  • Subscription cancellation failure
    • The customer will receive this Email when trying to cancel their subscription once the order has already been processed by the warehouse.
  • Wholesaler approved
    • If you have wholesale channels set up, a wholesale customer will receive the joined email once you approve their application.
  • Member verification submitted
    • The customer receives this Email If a member hasn't verified their account and customer service manually verifies the user.
  • Member forgot password
    • If a member clicks on 'forget password' they'll get this email so they can reset their password and login.
  • Subscription card declined
    • This Email goes out asking the customer to update their credit card information.
  • Order split
    • The customer receives this Email when one item is available to be shipped now and another item is on backorder.
  • Return refund
    • The customer receives this Email once a refund has been processed via the Returns UI only.
